If more than four weeks pass from the day on which the necessary information and documentation is received, the police will inform you when you can expect a decision to be made.
Permission may not be assumed even if you have not received a response from the police before the expiry of the abovementioned deadline.
In case of rejection
If the police decides to reject your application for permission or stipulate terms, you will receive an explanatory decision. If you disagree with the refusal, you have the opportunity to appeal.
Submit the appeal to the police district, whom made the decision. They will then forward the appeal to the Danish National Police who is the competent authority.
